Kettering Health is seeking an Imaging Tech Assistant to support imaging technologists by preparing patients, rooms, and equipment for procedures in a busy hospital setting.
You will escort and position patients, assist with procedures under supervision, maintain clean and stocked imaging areas, and help with scheduling, documentation in the electronic health record, and compliance with infection control, radiation safety, and HIPAA policies.

The Imaging Tech Assistant supports imaging technologists by preparing patients, maintaining equipment and exam rooms, and assisting with imaging procedures to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. This role contributes to patient safety, access, and operational reliability by adhering to regulatory standards and supporting workflow in the imaging department. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in radiology or imaging services.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
