Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a skilled IT Project Specialist to provide technical and operational support for information systems within imaging teams. You will define project scope, develop plans, monitor schedules, and coordinate testing and training for Epic Radiant, Epic Cupid, and PowerScribe implementations.

You should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of IT project experience; experience with healthcare IT is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in business administration, computer science, information systems, or related field.
3 years progressively responsible IT project experience, with exposure to systems or project development and testing.
Applicants without the stated degree, but with significant IT systems and project experience, may be considered.

Responsibilities

Collects and interprets specifications required to develop new, and revise existing, software applications.
Assists managers with development and implementation of operational plans for new and existing business applications, including user specifications.
Coordinates testing of new applications and changes to existing applications to ensure data integrity and training of system users.
Compiles policies and operation procedures to communicate Information Resources issues to management staff.
Supports development of business Information Resources strategies to improve operations and productivity.
