  • 4 years of experience working in an Imaging Systems technical environment, or 3 years with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Software development experience in scripting languages such as MATLAB or Python.
  • Experience developing or performing simulations to map imaging requirements to KPIs for eye tracking, hand tracking, or head tracking.
  • Experience conducting proof of concept testing to define imaging requirements for consumer devices.
  • In-depth knowledge of photo and video processing pipelines, ISP algorithms, multi-camera calibration, computational photography, computer vision, machine vision, and illumination design.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Salary and Benefits

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges depend on role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by skills, experience, and education. Recruiters can provide specific salary details during hiring. Responsibilities
  • Lead development of imaging systems for Google's consumer hardware products.
  • Research cutting-edge mobile and future form factor technologies.
  • Perform simulations and testing to define imaging requirements for eye, head, and hand tracking.
  • Establish imaging experience priorities and performance targets for multi-camera systems.
  • Collaborate with partners in System PD/EE, Camera Hardware, and Android Software.
