Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Radiology Technician Assistant to support imaging teams and coordinate patient flow in the department. The role involves room setup, verification of orders, escorting patients, and assisting technologists during exams and procedures.

The position is part-time, 56 hours per pay period, evenings (3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.) with alternating weekends and holidays, requiring a High School Diploma and CPR (BLS) certification. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cares for the patient during treatment per department and hospital standards.
• Prepares procedure rooms and coordinates patient flow in imaging.
• Explains exams and answers basic questions; assists with exam/procedure as directed.
• Picks up physician orders from EPIC, Chartview, Powerchart and verifies them.
• Monitors schedule to maintain patient flow and communicates delays.
• Uses RadNet and PACS; manages supplies and maintains a clean clinical area.
• Organizes and prioritizes work; provides clerical/technical support as needed.
