Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate's degree or equivalent required).
• Clinical experience gained through completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (R) registration; Ohio Radiographer license; BLS certification (before or within 90 days of hire).
• ARRT (CT) certification required within 12 months of hire if not held.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and hospital systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and optimal image quality.
• Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment per protocols and safety standards.
• Administer oral and IV contrast agents; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Obtain and verify patient history to support accurate imaging.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to needs or complications.
• Review images for quality and completeness; repeat scans as needed.
• Document procedures and contrast administration in the EHR.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions.
• Maintain infection control and radiation safety compliance.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to coordinate care.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuing education.
