Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to screen MRI safety protocols and assist imaging staff.

Responsibilities

• Accepts and performs patient care duties as assigned by Allied Health Professional.
• Answers phone calls from patients and helps direct patient flow.
• Keeps patients informed of wait times and next steps in their medical processes.
• Receives calls from the floor/ED and provides scheduling updates.
• Serves as second MRI personnel for MRI safety coverage and CT support.
• Assists with patient retrieval and transport as needed.
• Screening: MRI and CT for allergies; escalate to technologist as needed.
• Provides patient assistance (e.g., restroom) and prep for imaging.
• Maintains supplies and equipment; supports modality operations.
