Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
• Assist radiology team and manage patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Accepts and performs patient care duties as assigned by Allied Health Professionals.
• Answers phone calls from patients and helps direct patient flow.
• Keeps patients informed of wait times and next steps in their medical processes.
• Receives phone calls from the floor/ED and provides scheduling updates.
• Serves as MRI support and CT tech extender per safety requirements.
• Assists patient retrieval and transport as needed.
• Performs initial MRI screening for metal/allergies and CT screening for allergies; escalates for review.
• Provides patient assistance (e.g., restroom) and preps patient for imaging.
• Maintains supplies and equipment; supports unit operations.
• Participates in modality staff meetings and in-service training.
