Job summary

American Health Imaging in Decatur, GA is seeking an experienced Technologist Assistant (Medical Assistant/Phlebotomy) to support technologists and keep the imaging center on schedule. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, in Decatur.

You will help with patient care, prepare histories, start IVs, assist with MRI/CT flow, and maintain sterile rooms and equipment, with benefits including medical plans, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Radiology Technology student or 12 months imaging experience preferred.
• Prior IV insertion experience desired.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining excellent patient care.
• Dressing patients and obtaining medical history.
• Starting IVs.
• Assisting MRI/CT with the patient flow.
• Helping sterilizes equipment and rooms.
