Job summary

Orlando Health Imaging is seeking a dedicated transporter to assist in CT, MRI, Sonography, and X-ray areas. Schedule: Friday through Sunday, 10:00am to 10:30pm at 4000 Lakeland Highlands Road, Lakeland, FL.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider American Heart Association CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Transports stretcher and wheelchair patients in a safe, professional manner, following HIPPA and handoff compliance.
• Uses double identifiers on every patient per The Joint Commission regulations for patient safety.
• Orders and receives weekly radiology supplies.
• Picks up and delivers requisitions, specimens and other materials within the facility.
• Assist with stocking and cleaning of rooms, puts away supplies correctly.
• Reports faulty equipment, hazardous conditions and/or incidents to supervisor for follow up.
• Returns equipment to designated storage area, maintains transport equipment and cleans, deodorizes and disinfects equipment as needed.
• Maintains O2/suction supplies as required per facility.
• Utilizes all corporate radiology computer systems effectively and accurately.
• Delivers mail interdepartmentally as needed.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures
