Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking a Hospital Assistant II to support the imaging department across UCSF Medical Center locations. You will prepare patients for exams, assist with transfers to imaging tables, and help with room turnover and equipment cleaning.

You’ll transport patients and oversee supplies while upholding MR and radiation safety standards. Flexibility to rotate shifts and weekends/holidays is required, with the ability to read and write English and complete a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• The Hospital Assistant II supports the technologist and department across UCSF Medical Center locations.
• Prepare patient for exam and assist patient onto imaging table.
• Assist technologist in room turnover and cleaning of equipment.
• Provide transportation for patients to and from the department of radiology.
• Auditing and distribution of supplies and linen; transport of equipment or lab specimens.
• Heighten awareness and practice safety policies including MR and radiation safety.
