Job summary

SimonMed Imaging seeks a Technologist Assistant to support imaging teams, prepare exam rooms, and assist with patient flow in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will help with positioning, escort patients, and ensure comfort and safety throughout visits.

This hands-on role emphasizes teamwork with technologists and staff, adherence to safety protocols, and proactive patient care in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior healthcare or patient-facing experience strongly preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required (or obtained within required timeframe).
• IV certification or willingness to obtain (depending on modality requirements).
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, and physically assist patients throughout the day.
• Comfort supporting patient mobility, positioning, and safe transfers when needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and equipment for imaging procedures.
• Assist with patient flow, mobility, and exam preparation.
• Escort and guide patients through the imaging visit with safety and compassion.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and ready rooms for continuous patient flow.
• Support technologists and staff to ensure efficient, safe patient care.
