Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in exam preparation and transport between rooms.
• Use radiology systems to generate requisitions, check schedules, and obtain patient information.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms and supplies; clean and sterilize equipment as needed.
• Greet patients and coordinate appointments; answer calls and take messages.
• Serve as liaison between ordering physician, radiologist, and technologist.
• Provide radiology reports/images to staff, patients, and families; file and release records.
• Document observations and communicate needs to physicians and health care team.
• Assist with maintenance and quality monitoring of imaging equipment.
• Assist with MRI implant screening/documentation.
• Provide age-appropriate care and follow department policies.
