Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale seeks a Registry/Per Diem team member to assist Medical Imaging with patient care and clerical duties, including data entry, charting, and coordinating workflow. You will support technologists and nurses, enter patient info, verify insurance, arrange discharges and transports, and help keep the department organized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalence.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and use discretion with patients and staff.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy.
• Experience with electronic medical records and insurance is preferred.
• Knowledge of filing/retrieval systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and staff; provide clerical and admin support in a fast-paced imaging area.
• Enter patient information, scan/upload records, and maintain charts.
• Support acquisition and distribution of digital patient records (PACS).
• Verify insurance, assist with discharges, and coordinate patient transportation.
• Assist in pre/post procedure room setup and manage supplies.
• Reconcile tickets and assist with scheduling and billing preparation.
