Job summary

Banner Staffing Services is seeking a Registry/Per Diem Clerk for Banner Health at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center. You will support radiology and medical imaging teams with clerical duties, patient intake, data entry, and record management in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, accuracy in data handling, and coordination with clinicians. Per diem shifts offer flexibility, weekly pay, and a comprehensive orientation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Good communication and discretion with patients and staff.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy.
• Experience with electronic medical records and insurance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and staff; answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Enter patient data and scan documents into PACS.
• Process requests for medical records and imaging reports.
• Assist in pre and post procedure room setup and stocking.
• Coordinate transportation and discharge planning.
• Print schedules and prepare charts for the next day.
