This is a supervisory position providing direct supervision to technical and non-technical staff. This position defines and monitors the day-to-day operations of assigned areas, ensures that availability and appropriate utilization of needed human and material resources; supports collaboration between the technical and clerical staff, nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes. Work situations are varied and require technical expertise, prioritization, the use of discretion, good judgment problem solving, independent decision-making, and strong leadership skills. Major decisions are subject to the review and approval of the Director of Imaging Services. Internal contacts include staff and management throughout the medical center.
