Job summary

Honoka'a Hospital is seeking an Imaging Specialist II to join the Imaging Services team. The role performs radiologic examinations with advanced equipment, ensuring safety and high-quality patient care across the lifespan.

You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and staff to deliver timely diagnostic imaging and maintain accurate records, while adhering to infection control and radiation safety standards. Responsibilities include QA, education, and cross-training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree recognized by JRCERT or equivalent.
• 6 months of progressively responsible professional imaging technologist experience.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT(R)) and BLS within 6 months.
• Hawaii Radiologic Technologist License as Radiographer.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations per physician orders and department protocols.
• Position patients for imaging and administer contrast as required.
