Qualificações

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT-R registry within 6 months (new graduates).
• Ability to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures independently or with guidance.
• Knowledge of radiation safety, patient care, and image evaluation.
• Strong communication and educational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history respecting confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize factors, and adhere to ALARA principles for patient safety.
• Prepare and administer medications through vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate images for quality, positioning, and ensure proper data storage or transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside radiology departments.
