Job summary

Indiana University Health System in Indiana is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist for the 4-10 shift with rotating day off; call is required at Methodist Hospital. Preference for candidates with 4 years Interventional Radiology experience.

You will plan workflow, lead functions in Diagnostic Radiology, and guide staff, ensuring compassionate patient care from pediatric to geriatric. On-site role with a new hire bonus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of radiology experience.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT RT(R) credential and ISDH license required.
• Ability to maneuver equipment and adjust patient positioning.

Responsibilities

• Plans the workflow and staffing within the Diagnostic Radiology department.
• Provides lead functions and guidance to staff.
• Ensures patient interactions are courteous across pediatric to geriatric populations.

Job description

This position is full time, days. The shift is 4-10s with a rotating day off, call is required, at Methodist Hospital. Prefer the candidates have 4 years of Interventional Radiology experience.

Plans the work flow and employee distributions within the department. Provides various lead functions within the Diagnostic Radiology department while providing functional guidance to staff. Ensures staff interacts with patients and others in a positive manner and are competent to care for patients from pediatric through geriatric. Success is accomplished by promoting a team-oriented and service conscious environment.

• Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
• Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
• Requires active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R) through the American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT).

• Requires Radiologic Technologist license from Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH).
