Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
• ARRT or equivalent imaging certification; ARDMS or NMTCB accepted.
• BLS certification required within facility policy timeframe.
• State licensure or certification required within facility policy timeframe.
• Minimum five (5) years clinical imaging experience.
• Minimum two (2) years supervisory or managerial experience, preferably in an acute care hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and oversight of all imaging modalities and related services.
• Plans, organizes, and manages daily imaging operations to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Oversees staff recruitment, orientation, training, evaluation, and performance management.
• Maintains compliance with hospital, regulatory, and accrediting standards; supports performance improvement.
• Manages departmental budget, supply inventory, and equipment maintenance.
• Fosters communication and collaboration with physicians, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
