Job summary

Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, TX, seeks an experienced administrative leader to direct the Diagnostic, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology, and Mammography departments. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Requires radiology leadership, licensed MRT in Texas, ARRT(R), and BLS within 90 days. The role emphasizes staff scheduling, policy development, training, and ensuring accurate reporting and billing.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, within 90 days of start date.
• TX MRT license and ARRT Radiography certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative direction to the Diagnostic, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology and Mammography departments.
• Establishes staff work schedules and department policies/procedures; staff training and orientation; resolve grievances; maintain personnel records.
• Maintains supply levels within budget and ensures proper reporting and billing for imaging procedures.
• Verifies patient identity, orders, and coding; ensures accurate procedure and diagnosis codes in systems.
• Demonstrates reliability and punctuality, collaborates with physicians and other departments.
