Job summary

St. Davids South Austin Medical Center in Austin, TX seeks a Manager of Radiology Services to lead the Radiology Department across Diagnostic, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, CT and Mammography, ensuring patient needs are met in line with physician instructions and hospital policy.

You will develop and implement policies, supervise staff, coordinate monthly schedules, assist the Director with financial operation, and collaborate with other health care providers to promote continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ technologist experience with 2 years supervisory experience.
• Current MRT license from Texas Medical Board required.
• Advanced certification in modalities (QM, Mammography, CardioVascular, CT, MRI) preferred.
• BLS certification.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or equivalent credential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 24-hour accountability for supervision, coordination and evaluation of Radiology Department staff across modalities.
• Oversee development and revision of policies and procedures.
• Assist Director with financial operations and budgeting.
• Develop monthly staff schedules and coordinate with other departments for patient care continuity.
• Collaborate with external health care providers to promote continuity of care.
