Job summary

Indiana University Health in Martinsville, Indiana is seeking an Imaging Services Manager to lead the diagnostic imaging department, plan and coordinate daily operations, and ensure high quality patient care on a Monday–Friday onsite schedule at Morgan Hospital.

The role requires 5–7 years in imaging, 3–5 years leadership, and relevant certifications; you will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other departments to drive performance and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Basic Life Support certification is required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Active certifications (ARRT/ARDMS/NMTCB/ARMRIT/CCI) as required.
  • State ISDH license may be required.
  • 5–7 years in Imaging Services or related healthcare setting.
  • 3–5 years of leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of state and federal imaging laws.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct and coordinate daily imaging department functions.
  • Manage operations, quality assurance, regulatory compliance.
  • Improve efficiency and service delivery; liaison with physicians and staff.
  • Lead a 16–20 person team; report to Interim Imaging Services Director.
  • Fully onsite role, Monday–Friday day shift at Morgan Hospital.

Imaging Services Manager
Overview

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Diagnostic Imaging leadership team in the role of Imaging Services Manager.

Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the daily functions and workflow of assigned departmental personnel. Manages operational functions to include but not limited to: customer satisfaction, administrative responsibilities, information, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, clinical performance and all patient care within radiology imaging. Manages ongoing analysis, develop and implementation of methods and systems to improve overall efficiencies and effectiveness of services and functions. Serves as a liaison between the department and physicians, nurses and other organization departments.

This is a fully onsite role Monday-Friday day shift at Morgan Hospital.

Key Relationships

Reports to: Interim Imaging Services Director

Direct Reports: 16-20

Key Relationships: Emergency Department, Regional Leadership Team

Candidate Qualifications
  • Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred.
  • Requires active status through one of the following: American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT), the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), as required per specific modality. May be required to have additional certifications dependent on department needs.
  • May require license from Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), if applicable.
  • Requires 5-7 years experience in Imaging Services, Cardiovascular testing or related experience; in a healthcare institution.
  • 3-5 years leadership experience, required.
  • Requires knowledge of state and federal laws relative to assigned area.
