Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS American Heart E-Card required.
• BLS American Heart RQI E-Card required.
• BLS Certification Grace Period for Essential Credential may apply.
• BLS Red Cross or equivalents may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Handles workflow in clinical imaging areas.
• Coordinates patient flow to department and distributes work to staff.
• Communicates imaging findings to caregivers and verifies transmission of critical results.
• Assists with lift and repositioning of patients as needed.
• Transports patients using wheelchair, stretcher, or bed, including those with medical equipment.
• Creates electronic release of information for authorized requests.
• Manages imaging exam flow for timely interpretation by physicians.
• Performs audits for un-interpreted exams and proper storage of files.
• Greets patients, verifies prescriptions, providers and schedules appointments.
• Performs post-procedural duties including room clean up and restocking.
• Assists with inventory control.
