Job summary

Asante Imaging Services is seeking an Imaging Services Aide in Medford, OR to transport patients, assist radiology procedures, and support the Imaging Services Technologists. Responsibilities include inputting orders into the computer, answering phones, directing calls, and maintaining cleanliness of the department, exam rooms, and equipment.

The role requires at least 3 months of healthcare experience, BLS certification, and flexibility to work on-call with variable hours.

Qualifications

• 3 months of work experience in a medical setting preferred.
• BLS certification (AHA) required upon start.

Salary Range: $19.27 - $26.50

Shift Differentials

• $1.16 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $2.00 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
• $0.99 extra for working weekends

Position Summary

The Imaging Services Aide transports patients to and from the Imaging department, assists in radiology procedures, and performs related work as required. One of the primary responsibilities is assisting the Imaging Services Technologists; inputting orders into the computer, answering phones and directing calls as necessary; assisting in maintaining cleanliness of department, exam rooms, and equipment; distributing radiation badges to departments and employees as well as stocking exam rooms with linen and other medical supplies.

Qualifications

• At least 3 month’s work experience is required (with experience in a medical setting preferred).
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start.

• Flexibility with regards to work schedule to meet the needs of the department.
• Ability to prioritize work and able to work in a fast-paced environment with demands from staff, physicians and patients.
• Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care with respect to specific age or social maturity ranging from neonate patients through geriatric patients.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions in detail.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with physicians, patients and all levels of staff.
