Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a closely related discipline by start date.
• At least two years postdoctoral or equivalent research experience.
• Evidence of external funding success and research independence.
• Expertise in preclinical molecular imaging, theranostics, or nuclear chemistry.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to teaching, mentorship, and scholarly service.

Responsibilities

• Develop an independent research program in molecular imaging.
• Mentor students and postdocs; contribute to teaching and service.
• Collaborate with UCSF departments to advance tracer development to clinical studies.
• Establish a nationally recognized, externally funded program.
