Job summary

Backus Hospital, part of Hartford HealthCare, is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Scheduler to optimize workflow and coordinate procedures in our imaging department. You will collect patient history and prep instructions to ensure safety and appropriateness of exams.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma and at least two years in healthcare; strong medical terminology knowledge, excellent communication, and basic Windows software skills.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in a hospital or health care related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and diagnosis codes.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities
