Job summary

Backus Hospital, part of Hartford HealthCare, is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Scheduler to optimize workflow and coordinate imaging procedures according to department protocols.

You will collect and document complete patient medical history to ensure safety and appropriateness for all procedures, and provide pre-procedural instructions. This Per Diem, Day Shift position is based on-site at Backus Hospital in Connecticut.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years hospital or healthcare-related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnosis codes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer literacy with Windows-based software.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate diagnostic imaging procedures per department protocols.
