Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Imaging Nursing Support team at Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. The nurse will provide conscious sedation, patient monitoring, sample collection, scheduling navigation, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support procedures.

Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts with weekend call rotation. Requires RN license, BLS, and acute care experience; emphasis on compassionate, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• One year of acute care hospital experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and discharge planning needs. Review history, exams, and diagnostics to inform the care plan.
• Formulates a plan of care with patient/family and health team input; ensures realistic, measurable goals.
• Implements the plan of care with physician orders; coordinates and supervises nursing activities.
• Evaluates patient progress and teaching effectiveness; revises the plan as needed.
• Documents assessments, planning, implementation and outcomes in the patient record and communicates status to the team.
