Job summary

The Department of Surgery at the University of Arizona seeks a motivated Research Technician II to support multimodal imaging studies of the lymphatic system in the lab of Dr. Marlys Witte.

You will assist with bench experiments, data collection, and routine lab maintenance, collaborating with postdoctoral researchers, graduate students and principal investigators to advance translational lymphatic imaging research.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• 3 years relevant experience.
• Preferred background in biomedical research and lab safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lab experiments involving multimodal imaging of the lymphatic system.
• Collects and analyzes multidimensional data using imaging techniques.
• Assist in murine model studies including husbandry and procedures under protocols.
• Aid in tissue, blood, and sample processing per established protocols.
• Maintain records of experiments, procedures, and results.
