The SALT Lab at UVA's Department of Radiology & Medical Imaging invites applications for a Research Associate to develop and execute translational studies in lipedema and lymphedema.

You will recruit participants, coordinate visits, assist with bedside procedures and MRI, analyze data, and contribute to abstracts and manuscripts, reporting to the PI. This is an on-site, 12-month position in Charlottesville, VA with UVA benefits.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree and relevant research experience in translational lymphatic science.
• Experience with clinical trials and participant recruitment.
• Ability to coordinate multi-site studies and data collection.
• Knowledge of MRI and bedside measurement techniques.
• Strong data quality control and scientific writing skills.

Responsabilités

• Recruit and screen participants from UVA clinics and national sites.
• Coordinate study visits and data collection, including bedside procedures.
• Support the MRI exam and data quality control.
• Analyze data and prepare abstracts/manuscripts for peer review.
• Report outcomes to the PI and pursue grant opportunities.
