Job summary

Howard University seeks a qualified researcher to manage the imaging research processes in the Molecular Imaging Laboratory. The role includes planning, conducting, and reporting studies from preclinical to translational models, with an emphasis on improving TBI detection among minority populations.

You will supervise student interns or research assistants, review literature, and prepare manuscripts. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential in this interdisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills in data science and algorithm development.
• Ability to write scientific reports, abstracts and papers for publication.
• Strong written and spoken English; professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct original imaging research, planning, execution, and reporting.
• Utilize advanced imaging tech and statistical methods to improve TBI diagnosis.
• Assist in lab management and contribute to new business development.
• Prepare progress reports and present findings at meetings.
• Design econometric models for monitoring quality of life in TBI patients.
