Job summary

Anduril Industries in Lexington, MA / Waltham, MA seeks an experienced Reliability Engineer for the Imaging product line. You will embed reliability in early design, lead FMEAs, and perform predictive analyses with cross-functional teams to ensure robust hardware performance.

You will analyze field data, model degradation, and guide design iterations to achieve lifecycle readiness for mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a hardware-focused Reliability Engineer role or related engineering role with emphasis on life data analysis.
• Experience with MIL-STD-810, MIL-HDBK-217, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-516C, MIL-STD-1629.
• Experience setting up a Reliability Engineering framework for a product or program including production/testing data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform FMECA and Fault Detection/Isolation analyses and collaborate cross-functionally to implement reliability improvements.
• Perform predictive reliability analyses to forecast field failures and MTBF/MTTF.
• Develop RAM reports and communicate results to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and execute design verification test plans and undertake derating analysis.
• Collaborate with HW teams and FA labs to investigate root causes of time-based failures.
• Model degradation parameters to predict end-of-life thresholds and guide design iterations.
• Develop statistical models to project warranty claims and failure rates for risk assessment.
