Job summary

Cone Health seeks an Imaging Registrar to support patient registration and imaging data requests. You will greet patients on arrival, collect demographic, financial and health information, verify documentation, and direct them to the correct location.

Under supervision, you will enter data, manage phone calls, schedule exams, handle release of information, and maintain a balanced cash drawer while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Interview patients to obtain accurate registration data.
• Collect signatures on the AOB and copies of insurance and ID.
• Required: 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Determines patient destination at check-in at CHL.
• Interviews patients to obtain registration data and signatures on AOB; collects insurance card copies.
• Collects required financial information at registration or check-in.
• Maintains a balanced cash drawer.
• Enters all data accurately.
• Answers and directs calls; schedules/reschedules patient exams as needed.
• Prepares and distributes exam documentation to all modalities.
• Processes imaging data requests and Release of Information forms.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Imaging Registrar supports the processing all documentation related to patient registration and requests for imaging data. This role greets patients upon arrival and collects necessary information from them, such as financial and health records. Working under close supervision, this role assists with directing patients to the correct location and verifies that their documentation is appropriate.
Essential Job Function

• Determines patient destination at check-in upon arrival at CHL.
• Helps interview patients in order to obtain accurate registration data and obtains necessary signatures on the AOB and collects copies of insurance card and patient identification.
• Collects required financial information upon registration or check-in.
• Maintains a balanced cash drawer.
• Enters all data accurately.
• Handles and appropriately directs all phone calls and initiates call reminders to patients and schedules/reschedules patient exams as necessary.
• Prepares and distributes exam associated documentation to all modalities.
• Supports the processing all documentation related to requests for imaging data, CD's, reports, etc. and scans the Release of Information form.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
