Dignity Health – Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) Imaging Department is seeking an Imaging Professional to support advanced diagnostic and interventional imaging. You will help physicians, monitor patients, and expertly operate imaging equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

The role requires IV starts, EMT-Paramedic training or IV access training, BLS, and Cerner/EMR experience, with a focus on patient-centered care in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Experience performing IV starts
• Approved IV access training or EMT-Paramedic training
• American Heart Association / BLS
• Restraint Training during 6 months
• Safe Patient Handling during 6 months
• Oxygen Training during 6 months
• Point of Care Renal Screening Testing during 6 months
• Medical Terminology course training during 6 months

Responsibilities

• Check department wheelchairs and oxygen tanks and report defects.
• Verify patient identity before escorting to waiting area or modality.
• Assist technologist in positioning patient for scanning.
• Perform point of care renal function screening.
• Start IV for contrast under technologist direction.
• Document scans into the EMR per technologist direction
