Job summary

Mount Sinai in the United States seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic examinations, following Radiology protocols and physician referrals. You will assist, position patients, and ensure studies meet diagnostic quality while maintaining safety and infection control.

You will document patient tracking in IDX, schedule exams, and supervise students as needed, while upholding shielding standards and proper labeling of images.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Need 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine radiological procedures.
• Assist, prepare and position patients for procedures.
• Provide patient education about imaging procedures and instructions.
• Ensure all radiographic images are labeled per SOP.
• Apply shielding measures and follow radiation protection protocols.
• Maintain room and equipment cleanliness at shift start and end.
• Record all required patient tracking information into IDX.
• Schedule exams into IDX and ensure studies are completed in IDX.
