Qualifications

• Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• NY State Dept. of Health Licensed Radiologic Technologist required or temporary permit under licensure pending.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine radiological procedures.
• Position and prepare patients for imaging.
• Educate patients about imaging procedures and instructions.
• Label radiographic images as per SOP.
• Apply radiation protection measures to minimize exposure.
• Assist physicians during procedures and in patient care.
• Record and schedule in IDX; ensure timely study transmission to PACS.
• Maintain cleanliness of radiology room and equipment.
• Supervise radiology students in clinical area.
