Qualifications

• Completion of a full-time diagnostic radiologic technology program of at least 24 months, evidenced by a certificate or an associate degree, accredited by JRCERT.
• Must be certified in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiography (R).
• Advanced ARRT certification may be required for CT, MRI, or Mammography duties as applicable.
• Must be proficient in English; physical requirements per VA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiology examinations and fluoroscopic x-ray procedures.
• Registers patients and performs related clerical duties (e.g., creating CDs, sending exams).
• Maintains ARRT registration and stays current with developments in radiologic technology.
• Fulfills other duties as assigned and works variable shifts including days, weekends, and nights.
