Qualifications

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
  • Associates degree in Anatomy, Physiology, Biology, radiological science, Healthcare Administration, or a directly related field AND minimum six (6) years of radiologic technology experience or experience in a directly related field OR Minimum seven (7) years of radiologic technology experience or experience in a directly related field.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and advocates for developmental opportunities; builds cross-functional relationships and drives performance improvements.
  • Manages designated units or teams by translating business plans into tactical actions and ensuring policies are followed.
  • Educates patients on procedures, ensures privacy and confidentiality, and handles service recovery for escalated concerns.
  • Oversees day-to-day department operations, streamlines inventory and policies, and partners with labor to drive quality and cost savings.
  • Ensures adherence to safety regulations and manages equipment malfunctions and escalations to appropriate personnel.
  • Evaluates radiologic examination processes, data accuracy in RIS, and optimizes imaging factors for patient care.
