Job summary

imagecarecenters is seeking a Tech Aide Manager to lead frontline imaging support operations, optimize patient flow, and manage staffing and safety compliance across multiple locations. The role partners with technologists, front desk teams, and regional leadership to drive efficiency and an exceptional patient experience.

Onboarding starts at Mount Olive on day one; requires supervision experience, MRI safety focus, and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of medical imaging experience.
• BLS certification is required.
• CMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Tech Aide operations across imaging centers, ensuring efficient patient flow and staffing coverage.
• Develop and manage Tech Aide schedules, monitor PTO and gaps, and adjust coverage.
• Coordinate daily assignments for Tech Aide staff to support imaging workflows and efficiency.
• Partner with leadership to standardize workflows across imaging centers.
• Track daily patient metrics (table time, efficiency) and escalate issues to leadership.
• Support workflow improvements to reduce delays and improve patient care.
• Lead onboarding and orientation for new Tech Aides with structured training.
• Ensure training modules and competency assessments are completed.
• Coordinate Level II MRI Safety Certification for all Tech Aides.
• Maintain training records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Reinforce MRI safety protocols across operations.
• Support MRI screening workflow compliance under guidance.
• Promote patient safety and regulatory compliance culture.
• Escalate safety/compliance risks promptly to leadership.
• Act as liaison between Tech Aides, technologists, front desk teams, and leadership.
• Participate in operational meetings and planning.
• Foster a collaborative, efficient team environment with a positive patient experience.
• Maintain records: training, logs, and tracking tools.
• Monitor attendance, accountability, and workflow performance.
• Contribute to performance evaluations and reviews as needed.
