Job summary

Vitruvian Health Imaging Services seeks an experienced Imaging Nurse to provide high-quality care within a busy department. The role emphasizes patient safety, sterile technique, and collaboration across teams to support efficient imaging workflows.

The nurse will participate in practice governance, manage imaging procedures, and ensure age-appropriate care, with exposure to radiology and PACS systems as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program; current Georgia RN license; CPR required.
• ACLS certification required; Conscious Sedation licensure may be needed.
• Minimum three years Medical/Surgical nursing; critical care or OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in the Imaging Department and support patient needs.
• Attend Nurse Practice Council and other meetings to stay current with practices.
• Demonstrate age-appropriate care knowledge for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients.
• Maintain sterile technique and use imaging-related equipment safely.
• Maintain imaging PACS databases and schedule inpatient/outpatient procedures.
• Ensure patient care before, during, and after procedures; comply with radiation safety.
