Job summary

Beacon Health System in South Bend, IN seeks an experienced Radiology Technologist Supervisor to oversee daily imaging operations and guide Technologists and students.

You will ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging, follow safety protocols, participate in staffing, training, and quality assurance programs, and support department leadership. Regularly review imaging protocols, coordinate with physicians, manage incident reporting, and contribute to budgeting and equipment planning.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent from an approved radiology, nuclear medicine or ultrasound program.
• ARRT registration or equivalent certification is required.
• Demonstrated leadership skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing day-to-day patient care activities by staffing, scheduling, and assigning duties for Technologists.
• Provide functional guidance to Technologists and students in the assigned area.
• Ensure quality of diagnostic imaging procedures by adhering to protocols and safety standards.
• Assist management with interviewing, hiring, coaching, and performance appraisals.
• Instruct personnel in safe radiation practices for patients and staff.
• Monitor equipment, report issues, and assist with purchases and maintenance.
• Develop in-service educational programs with Clinical Instructor and management.
• Participate in departmental management activities and budgeting processes.
