• At least 18 months of experience in Special Procedures/Interventional, preferably in a critical care setting

Duties and Responsibilities

The primary role of the Interventional Radiology Tech is to assist in patient care within the Interventional Radiology Department by providing technical support to the IR team.

• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting
• Operate radiology equipment to obtain images as per physician specifications
• Assist physicians during procedures by monitoring, passing instruments, maintaining sterile fields, and evaluating diagnostic data
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines
• Provide quality, cost-effective patient care professionally
• Maintain an environment focused on patient-centered, compassionate, and timely care
• Accurately prepare and update patient records
