Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Imaging Informatics to maintain and enhance imaging informatics tools and data pipelines.

You will work with Clinical Imaging, Data Management, Biostatistics, IT and vendors to ensure reliable, analysis-ready imaging data and scalable solutions. The role requires hands-on Python/SQL programming, knowledge of DICOM and data standards, and the ability to develop new tools that automate imaging operations.

Qualifications

• BS with 5+ years, MS with 3+ years, or PhD in imaging science, biomedical engineering, computer science, data science or a related field.
• Hands-on programming in Python and SQL and practical experience building and maintaining relational databases.
• Working knowledge of medical imaging fundamentals, including DICOM, image formats, modalities and analysis software.
• Preferred: Experience supporting clinical trial imaging in a regulated environment; Familiarity with ophthalmic and oncology modalities, Linux, cloud and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the group's imaging informatics tools and analytical pipeline, including monitoring dataflows and scheduled jobs, user access and support, upgrades and issue resolution.
• Maintain clinical imaging databases and data pipelines, including routine loading of vendor imaging-derived data, standardization to internal and CDISC conventions, QC and reconciliation, and query support for study teams.
• Develop new tools, scripts and automations that reduce manual effort in imaging operations, such as reconciliation of expected versus received deliverables, read progress tracking and assembly of analysis-ready datasets.
• Execute and adapt quantitative image analysis workflows, including segmentation, registration and derived measurements, and deliver results in a documented and reproducible form.
• Author and maintain documentation for the tools you support, including requirements, specifications, testing records and user guides.
• Collaborate with IT, Data Management, Biostatistics and imaging vendors to troubleshoot dataflow issues and support evaluation of new imaging platforms and AI tools.
