Job summary

St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Imaging Guidance Technician to join our clinical team. You will retrieve MRI/CT scans, set up the navigation system, and calibrate equipment prior to and during procedures to aid precise interventional guidance.

You will monitor navigation systems, maintain accurate records, and assist the surgical team under physician direction, with a strong emphasis on patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• 1 year of recent clinical or Operating Room experience preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains navigation instrumentation and equipment, calibrating as needed.
• Retrieves appropriate scans when required.
• Assists during surgical procedures by adjusting equipment as directed by the physician.
• Ensures proper room setup and equipment teardown.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Imaging Guidance Technician at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, you will be a highly specialized and essential member of our clinical team, pivotal in performing advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures. Every day you will retrieve MRI/CT scans, set up the navigation system and make adjustments prior to and during surgical procedures. While monitoring and reporting issues with navigation equipment or processes, using critical real-time guidance and accurate diagnosis. To be successful in this role, your ability to maintain a steadfast commitment to patient safety advocacy is crucial. Ensuring patient safety is of the utmost importance.

• Maintains navigation instrumentation and equipment, calibrating same equipment as needed
• Retrieves appropriate scans as needed
• Assumes responsibility for accurate records and results
• Assists throughout the surgical procedure by making equipment adjustments as directed by the physician
• Responsible for room set up and equipment break down

Job Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED
• One (1) year recent clinical or Operating Room experience
