Job summary

Spring Valley Hospital, part of The Valley Health System, is located in southwest Las Vegas. The hospital provides advanced cardiovascular and neurological surgeries, a level III NICU, and a comprehensive range of maternity and emergency services.

As a radiology professional, you will perform cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures, supported by current Nevada licensure and RCIS/ARRT credentials where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Education and certification in radiology fields are required.
  • Experience: 1 year in cath lab for RCIS, or 2 years in cath lab or interventional radiology for ARRT CI/VI candidates.
  • Current Nevada Radiation Control License required; ARRT/RCIS certifications may be required.

Job Description:

Responsible for performing cardiovascular and interventional radiological procedures.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited radiology technician program or registered cardiovascular invasive specialist program. Must successfully complete VHS Ancillary Preceptor training within first six (6) months.

Experience: 1-year experience in cardiac Cath lab for RCIS certified individuals or 2 years of experience in Cath lab or interventional radiology units for ARRT (CI) or ARRT (VI) candidates.

Technical Skills: Demonstrate knowledge and experience in cardiovascular procedures License/Certification Current Nevada Radiation Control License required. ARRT (CI) or ARRT (VI) Registration or RCIS required. Current BLS Certification required. Other license/certification may be required by specialty/facility.

Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patient.
