Job summary

Trimedx is seeking an experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician to repair, calibrate, and verify complex imaging systems, ensuring accurate scans and uptime across client sites in Buffalo, NY. You will act as the technical lead for regulatory documentation and support clinicians in real-time decisions.

You will mentor teammates, coordinate with vendors, and manage inventory while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Travel within the region is required based on client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing medical imaging equipment.
• Strong computer skills: interpreting error codes, replacements, diagnostics.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) and networking applications.
• Valid driver's license; travel as needed.
• 2-year technical/electronics degree or TRIMEDX certification.

Responsibilities

• Repair, calibrate, and verify complex imaging systems to restore confidence in scans.
• Lead regulatory accuracy: radiation outputs, documentation, and data integrity.
• Be the technical voice clinicians rely on when equipment performance affects real-time decisions.
• Mentor others, guide vendors, and manage inventory to keep equipment running.
