Qualifications

• At least three years of professional experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of medical imaging hardware.
• Proven background servicing diagnostic systems like ultrasound, C-arms, mammography, or radiographic rooms.
• Advanced technical troubleshooting, including resolving hardware issues and interpreting system logs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic diagnostic software.
• Familiarity with diagnostic software and network-based applications.
• Associate degree in Biomedical Technology or Electronics or equivalent certification/experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute setup, diagnostic assessment, repair, and routine maintenance of medical imaging hardware (e.g., mammography units, ultrasound, C-arms, radiographic suites).
• Conduct proactive maintenance and evaluations to maximize equipment availability and reduce interruptions.
• Ensure radiation output and system functionality meet regulatory benchmarks via testing and calibration.
• Analyze system alerts and perform hardware fixes (e.g., swap drives, power supplies).
• Maintain meticulous logs of service activities and asset management databases.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to address technical challenges and support patient care workflows.
• Provide mentorship to staff, vendors, and junior technicians to improve performance.
• Oversee procurement and organization of service components and tools for rapid restoration.
• Adhere to quality, safety, and regulatory protocols during maintenance or repairs.
• Travel to various facility sites to complete installations and repairs.
