Job summary

TRIMEDX is seeking an experienced imaging equipment technician to repair, calibrate, and verify complex medical imaging systems. You will support clinicians by ensuring regulatory accuracy, documenting outputs, and maintaining database integrity while acting as the primary technical resource in real-time equipment decisions.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, up to 50 lb lifting, and occasional travel with a strong emphasis on precision, reliability, and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing medical imaging equipment.
  • Strong computer skills: interpreting error codes and diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of Excel and networking applications.
  • Valid driver’s license; travel as needed.
  • 2-year technical/electronics degree or equivalent or certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Repair, calibrate, and verify complex imaging systems to restore confidence in scans.
  • Lead regulatory accuracy on radiation outputs and documentation.
  • Be the technical voice clinicians rely on for equipment performance in real-time decisions.
  • Mentor others, guide vendors, and manage inventory to keep equipment running.

Required Experience & Education
  • Minimum 3 years repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing medical imaging equipment (radiographic rooms, C‑arms, ultrasound, mammography, etc.).
  • Strong computer skills: interpreting error codes, replacing power supplies, hard‑drive work, and system diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) and networking applications.
  • Valid driver’s license; travel as needed.
  • 2‑year technical/electronics degree or equivalent experience or TRIMEDX Trained Certification/biomedical certification program.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks required for equipment service.

Applicants can expect a compensation range of $30.75-48.00for this opportunity.This is the reasonable estimate that TRIMEDX believes it mightpayfor this particular job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. TRIMEDX may ultimatelypaymore or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience and qualifications.
