Shift:

PRN/On-call (1 weekday and 1 weekend a month)

Position Highlights:

The Nebraska Medicine Cardiovascular Imaging team is dedicated to diagnosing, treating, and managing circulatory system diseases with advanced medical equipment, procedures, and nationally recognized expertise. We use a collaborative approach to care, bringing together specialists from cardiology, interventional radiology, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, and cardiothoracic surgery with the shared goal of treating and healing patients.

Note: A single modality applicant (vascular) would be considered based on experience and demand. Cross-training opportunities are available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:

Perform a full range of vascular ultrasound procedures to acquire high-quality imaging and diagnostic information, contributing to holistic patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate's degree in vascular ultrasound or two years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of vascular circulatory system principles.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Experience with hospital ultrasound equipment and computer systems.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire from AHA.
  • Registered or registry-eligible in vascular ultrasound.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior vascular ultrasound experience in healthcare.
  • Associate's degree in vascular ultrasound preferred.
