Central Florida Family Health Center Inc is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to operate sonography equipment and perform diagnostic examinations. The role involves adhering to QA procedures, maintaining equipment, and communicating results to the physician team.

The candidate should have formal education in diagnostic sonography and consider ARDMS certification preferred; BS in Sonography is a plus. On-site role in Sanford, FL, with a focus on quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Cardiovascular Technology Program.
• Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations (vascular, breast, kidney, abdominal, OB/GYN) and submits scans for interpretation.
• Uses cognitive skills to identify and record anatomical, pathological and diagnostic information and images.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures and maintains a safe environment.
• Maintains equipment and supplies, reports equipment issues, and coordinates with staff for patient care.
• Prepares preliminary reports and communicates findings to the referring provider.
