Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Cardiovascular Technology Program.
• Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations (vascular, breast, kidney, abdominal, OB/GYN) and submits scans for interpretation.
• Uses cognitive skills to identify and record anatomical, pathological and diagnostic information and images.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures and maintains a safe environment.
• Maintains equipment and supplies, reports equipment issues, and coordinates with staff for patient care.
• Prepares preliminary reports and communicates findings to the referring provider.
